PMI 2004 Calendar Orders Being Accepted

The 2004 PMI Calendar together with a directory of the PMI affiliates was released in November 2004. Over 22,000 of these calendars have been ordered by PMI affiliates. However, a few more boxes are still available at the warehouse. Orders for the remaining stock are being accepted on a first come first served basis. The production of the calendar was sponsored by the Special Ministry Unit of the North American Mission Board, SBC.

At the conclusion of the annual meeting in 2003, PMI president Dan Bailey appointed Ted Mall to coordinate the calendar/directory project. Philip Vandercook served as data coordinator. Together Vandercook and Mall worked on compiling and refining data as well as on the design of the project. The calendar is produced on 3.5"X8" heavy stock folded to 3.5"X2" for wallet size convenience. It contains the most current listing of PMI affiliated port ministries in North America. The calendar is intended to be given away to seafarers as a handy reference to PMI related services.

The finished calendar is packaged in boxes of 250 each. While NAMB supported the production of the calendar, PMI is requesting that the affiliated ministries and centers using it make a co-payment of $3 per package to cover the cost of handling and shipping. A link for an order form for the calendar appears under this news item. The order form may be faxed to the order fulfillment center. Secure payment via credit cards is available, as well. Alternately an email request may be sent to calendars@pminet.net to request a supply. However, the order processing company will need the copayment to ship the order.
